Abu Dhabi: Masdar, a leading player in the UAE’s clean energy sector, is gearing up to host the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) and the Green Hydrogen Summit from April 16 to 18 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). This global event focuses on future energy, clean technology, and sustainability, drawing participation from key stakeholders worldwide.

The Masdar Pavilion at WFES will be a focal point for innovation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange. It will feature engaging panels and presentations, including forums by Masdar’s initiatives like Y4S (Youth 4 Sustainability) and WiSER (Women in Sustainability, Environment, and Renewable Energy). Additionally, the Innovation Zone hosted by Masdar will showcase the latest climate solutions and technology innovations through industry panels.

On April 16, Masdar will host the Green Hydrogen Summit, aiming to accelerate the development of the global green hydrogen economy. This summit will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs to explore the potential of green hydrogen in achieving a net-zero emissions economy.

Monthly Energy Update, a prominent media partner from Pakistan, is actively participating in the WFES as Masdar’s media partner. The Energy Update team will cover the event extensively, representing Pakistan’s interests and contributions to renewable energy and climate action discussions. This collaboration underscores Pakistan’s commitment to advancing clean energy and sustainability on the global stage.

Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, CEO of Masdar, reaffirms the company’s dedication to advancing clean energy and accelerating the energy transition. Masdar aims to achieve a renewable energy portfolio capacity of 100GW by 2030, supporting global efforts to triple renewables capacity and emerge as a key producer of green hydrogen. This commitment aligns with The UAE Consensus agreed at COP28, signaling a strong commitment to climate action and sustainable development.
